We are so happy that finally Thierry walks! He got scared by falling so often since his first steps in December 2008. Check his movie and see how proud he is. And we are SO proud of him. We reorganised our living room by bringing furniture closer by, so walking distances would be shorter. We put a carpet on the floor to soften falls. We are going to face other problems now, like running after him, looking where he is hiding, battle to keep him still! But I am sure it will be less tiring than carrying him in our arms so often...

He he eindelijk loopt Thierry, Super! Hij was bang geworden om te vallen sinds zijn eerste stapjes in december 2008. Bekijk het filmpje en zie hoe trots hij is. En wij zijn zo trots op hem! We hebben onze woonkamer zodanig ingedeeld dat de meubelen wat dichter bij elkaar staan zodat de loopafstanden wat korter voor hem werden. We hebben ook een vloerkleed neergelegd om het vallen wat te verzachten. Uiteraard zullen we nu tegen andere uitdagingen aanlopen, achter hem aanrennen, opletten wij zich verstopt, stil blijven zitten/staan! Ik ben er zeker van dat dit minder vermoeiend is dan hem continue te dragen...

Nous sommes si contents que Thierry marche enfin! Il a ete decourage par tous les coups qu'il s'est fait en tombant depuis ses premiers pas en decembre 2008. Un film est disponible et voyez combien il est fier de lui. Et nous sommes encore PLUS fier de lui. Nous avons re-amenage le salon en rapprochant les meubles, ainsi les distances etaient plus courtes. Nous avons aussi mis un tapis pour amortir les chutes. Maintenant nous allons au devant d'autres problemes comme devoir lui courir apres, chercher ou il se cache, insister pour qu'il reste tranquille! Mais je suis sure que ce sera moins fatiguant que devoir le porter toute la journee...
